ABOUT

In 2019, Sam entered the ultramarathon scene by winning his first race at the River Valley Revenge 100 km in Edmonton, followed by a 5th place finish at the Squamish 50 mile and to cap off his season, he achieved a course record victory at the Golden 120 km in British Columbia. Through conditioning his body with a specific training schedule and adequate fuel he is able to do things he never knew possible. He is addicted to the challenge of distance running.

"Banff's Sam Dickie reflects on season of winning ultra races"

"He’s lying on the ground, motionless. He collapsed right after the finish line; which means he made it, he hit his goal. Proof that his body could travel the distance."
