I Work, You Play
It's hard to find the motivation to strive in your training to exceed your ambitious goals. It's even harder to find the time to strategize and plan how you are going to achieve your goals. Let me do the work for you, so you can just follow along and enjoy the ride."
Sam is not your average running coach. Not having much of an appetite for a half or full marathon, Sam decided that his first organized race would be a 100 km ultramarathon; the 2019 Edmonton River Valley Revenge - which he won. This spurred his addiction for pushing his body to the limits, within his debut 2019 running season, Sam finished 5th in the Squamish 50 mile, which he followed with a course record at the Golden 120 km. Sam swears that his personally developed training, diet and meditation regime are what enables him to go the true distance. Whether you are interested to run 31 hours straight, or complete your first 5 km run, he has the experience and mind set to get you there.

My Training Philosophy
My training philosophy is to build up mileage slowly, integrating a mix of low heart rate and intensity workouts to grow both your anaerobic and aerobic capacities. The slow build up will install mental confidence, which ultimately reflects on your performance and allow you to conquer your goals. Additionally, adding in cross training and a variety of workouts will keep your program fun and make your training never feel like a chore.
